Praline Bread Pudding

Praline Bread Pudding

3 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup(1 stick) butter, divided, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 pound loaf of day-old bread, torn or cut into 1 inch pieces
1 cup chopped pecans
3/4 cup packed brown sugar

Preheat oven to 350 and grease a 13x9 baking dish or casserole.

Beat eggs, sugar, 1/2 of the butter, vanilla and salt in a large bowl with a wire whisk. Add bread and stir until evenly coated. Place in greased baking dish.

Combine pecans, remaining butter and brown sugar until blended. Sprinkle/spoon over top of the bread.

Bake, uncovered, for 50 minutes, until set. Serve warm.
